Mrs. Martinez just read...

Title: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Author: J. K. Rowling
Rating (Out of 5): 5
A connection to the book: Harry is chosen as a school champion for the Tri-Wizard Tournament and is able to pass the tasks successfully. However, Harry does not have any family to share his great achievements with. I had a personal connection to Harry in regards to this because when I was younger and would achieve great things, my family was always too busy working to share these successes with me. Harry felt extremely sad because his parents were not able to celebrate his success and I felt the same way when my parents were not able to celebrate with me.

Genre: Fantasy
Recommended?:  yes
Why or why not?  I would recommend the Harry Potter series because the story line is very unique and the book has a lot of twists and turns. Although the book is very dark and does not necessarily have the traditional happy ending, it kept me on the edge of my seat as I wanted to read more and more.
